Daily Iteration

As it’s Problogger Group Writing Project time, and therefore I tend to get more traffic than usual (well since this is a fairly new blog any traffic is more traffic than usual :P), I though of suggesting a little interactive post to interact with new readers: how about sharing your desktop? No, not really sharing your desktop, just a screenshot… Post a screenshot of your desktop as it is right now to your own blog or, if you don’t have one, to a photo sharing service, and let us all know either through a pingback, or a comment on this post with the link to your desktop. Let’s share!

Before I forget, here is mine:

Perhaps I should say something about it: Ubuntu Linux 7.04 (Feisty Fawn), running Gnome + Compiz with a desktop from Deviant Art and the Human Icon set. That desktop is the first dog desktop I have ever seen that doesn’t look cheesy, so congratulations to the author. I try to keep things at least looking tidy, so instead of dumping stuff on the desktop I have a folder called “misc” which is my computer’s rug - all the dirt gets swept under there.
